One person taken to hospital after reports of a 'stabbing' in Llandudno Junction - North Wales Live

A man was taken to hospital after police responded to reports of a "stabbing" in Llandudno Junction. Emergency services rushed to the town yesterday evening.

Police shut Penrhos Avenue, Llandudno Junction with multiple police cars and vans in attendance at around 8pm. It is understood to relate to a stabbing.

The ambulance service said it sent two ambulances to the scene. They took one man to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan.

Llandudno Junction Councillor Mike Priestley said the incident has rocked the community. He said he was seeking safety assurances for the community.

Cllr Priestley said: "Regarding the incident last night in Llandudno Junction, I can't say much at the moment but can assure residents that I will be asking questions. We have a great community, and I will be seeking safety assurances."

North Wales Police have been contacted for comment.
