Armed police have found the man suspected of the crossbow murders of BBC racing commentator John Hunt’s wife and their two daughters.
Officers and paramedics rushed to a cemetery in Enfield, north London, on Wednesday following a major manhunt for Kyle Clifford.
The wanted 26-year-old was found in the Enfield area and treated for injuries, confirmed Hertfordshire Constabulary, adding that their officers did not fire any shots.
Clifford, who left the British Army in 2022 following a brief period of service, was wanted over the deaths of Carol Hunt, 61, and her two daughters, Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25.
The three women were found with serious injuries and later declared dead at the scene after officers were called to a property in Bushey on Tuesday evening.
During the manhunt, the force said they believed Clifford may have been armed with a crossbow and warned the public not to approach him.
Home secretary Yvette Cooper said she was being kept fully updated about the “truly shocking” deaths.

Wanted man Kyle Clifford found
Police say they have found the suspect wanted over the killings of Carol Hunt and her daughters.
“A man wanted in connection with a triple murder in Bushey has been traced to a location in North London,” officers said.
“Following an extensive search, Kyle Clifford, aged 26, was found in the Enfield area by officers this afternoon.
“He is receiving medical treatment having been found with injuries. No shots were fired by police.”
Home secretary to ‘take a view in near future’ on whether tougher crossbow laws needed
Yvette Cooper will “take a view in the near future” of whether tougher crossbow laws are needed in the wake of the killings of three women in Hertfordshire on Wednesday, the security minister has said, as the home secretary urgently considers the change.
Dan Jarvis told Sky News: “I know that the home secretary is looking at this literally as we speak. There was a call for evidence that was initiated a number of months ago. She will want to consider that evidence in the round.
“She’ll want to look clearly, very carefully at what happened yesterday – devastating events – and she will take a view in the near future.”

Local council member recounts learning about killing in neighbourhood
Local council member Laurence Brass, who lives nearby, described the area as “a typical leafy British suburb” as he recounted his experience from the previous night.
“At about eight o’clock last night, I was watching the football on television, and suddenly a helicopter landed in the lawn outside my flat, which is at the top of this road, and then my phone started going, and I was told that there was a major incident here in Bushey and we should all keep away because there was somebody apparently on the run,” he told the BBC.
